Born into a family of jewelers and silversmiths in Shiraz, Iran—a city renowned for its art, culture, and poetry—I was exposed to gems and jewelry from a very young age. My parents, uncles, and grandparents all worked in the jewelry industry, making me the third generation in this trade.

Growing up, I accompanied my father around the world on quests for the perfect gemstones and attended various shows and exhibitions. My father has been my first teacher and mentor throughout my career.

After graduating from university in Iran, I moved to London, England, to study Jewelry Design. I spent four years at Middlesex University studying Jewelry and Accessories Design. During this time, I completed internships with various designers and attended numerous exhibitions, ultimately earning my B.A. degree.

I subsequently moved to New York, USA, and studied Gemology at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). There, I fell in love with the science of gemstones and minerals.

Upon graduating, I was invited to join the GIA team as an instructor, teaching courses in diamonds, colored stones, and jewelry design. During my six years at GIA, I met incredible people from around the world with whom I’ve maintained close professional relationships.

Chuang Yu, one of my former students and a talented jeweler, was invited to join my team so that we could create something meaningful and beautiful together.

I continue to travel the world, both in search of rare and high-quality gemstones for my designs and to learn about different cultures and civilizations. While traveling is my biggest muse, I am also inspired by mythology, superstitions, and common beliefs. As an animal lover and nature enthusiast, I have created collections to raise awareness about environmental issues and the preservation of our oceans and wildlife.

The impact of my personal background, upbringing, and the political situation of my region is easily detectable in my designs.

My designs have won several international awards, including Gold and Silver Medals in the jewelry and watch design category at the A’ Design Awards in Italy.

I was born and raised in Dalian, a port city located in northeastern China, and currently live and work in New York City. I came to the United States to pursue a degree in Accounting but soon realized my passion for Art. I received my BFA in Studio Art from New York University in 2015 and a Graduate Diamonds Certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 2016, where I met Samira Mazloom.

I studied and developed metalsmithing skills under the guidance of NYU professors and various fine jewelry artists, including Klaus Bürgel, Sayumi Yokouchi, Giuseppe Giacomello, and Tony Lent. Since 2015, I have been working with various prestigious jewelry brands such as Biba Schutz, Mission Atelier, Singale & Co., and Anthony Lent on edition jewelry and one-of-a-kind jewelry collections.

'From mind, through hands, into the piece' is my motto as a jewelry artist."
