About Us
Samira Mazloom
Born into a family of jewelers, I was exposed to gems and jewelry from an early age. My parents and grandparents all worked in the jewelry industry, making me the third generation in this trade.
Growing up, I accompanied my father on global quests for the perfect gemstones and attended various shows and exhibitions. He has been my first teacher and mentor throughout my career.
After graduating from university in Iran, I moved to London, England, to study Jewelry Design. My work was exhibited in various galleries, and my designs have won several international awards, including Gold and Silver Medals in the jewelry and watch design category at the A’ Design Awards in Italy.
Following my graduation, I moved to New York to further my studies in Gemology at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where I fell in love with the science of gemstones and minerals.
Upon completing my studies, I was invited to join the GIA team as an instructor. During my six years at GIA, teaching gemology and design courses, I had the privilege of meeting incredible people from around the world, many of whom I have maintained professional relationships with and continue to collaborate with.
Chuang Yu, one of my former students and a talented jeweler, was invited to join my team.
I continue to travel the world in search of rare, high-quality gemstones for my designs and to immerse myself in different cultures and civilizations. While traveling is my greatest source of inspiration, I am also deeply influenced by mythology, superstitions, and common beliefs. As an animal lover and nature enthusiast, I have created collections to raise awareness about environmental issues and the preservation of our oceans and wildlife.
The impact of my personal background, upbringing, and heritage is evident in my designs. Every piece I create is a storyteller, weaving together history, culture, mythology and personal narrative.

I was born and raised in Dalian, a port city located in northeastern China, and currently live and work in New York City. I came to the United States to pursue a degree in Accounting but soon realized my passion for Art. I received my BFA in Studio Art from New York University in 2015 and a Graduate Diamonds Certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 2016, where I met Samira Mazloom.
I studied and developed metalsmithing skills under the guidance of NYU professors and various fine jewelry artists, including Klaus Bürgel, Sayumi Yokouchi, Giuseppe Giacomello, and Tony Lent. Since 2015, I have been working with various prestigious jewelry brands such as Biba Schutz, Mission Atelier, Singale & Co., and Anthony Lent on edition jewelry and one-of-a-kind jewelry collections.
'From mind, through hands, into the piece' is my motto as a jewelry artist."
